Entry Requirements & Travel Visas

Entry requirements are provided for your convenience. However, unless otherwise stated, it is your responsibility to determine the requirements that apply to you and your trip and to comply with them, including obtaining any necessary visas or other travel documents by the required deadlines and carrying them with you.
Nepal: Travelers should arrange their own Nepal visa, either in advance or upon arrival. Please see details here.

Bhutan: The Bhutan Visa fee and Sustainable Development fee is included in your tour price. Travelers to Bhutan will need to submit documentation to our team prior to your final payment deadline so we can process the visa. Please see details here.

A visa is required for entry into Bhutan and is obtained on your behalf by Friendly Planet Travel. In order to secure your Bhutan visa, we will need a scanned color copy of your passport 75 days before your departure. Please ensure that your scanned document is high resolution and in color. Each passport must be scanned separately and include the full signature and photo pages. Additionally, a scanned recent, color, and high resolution passport photo must also be provided. Passports must be valid for six months beyond travel dates.
